Dr. Stephen Happel is an Emeritus Professor of Economics at the Arizona State University W.P. Carey School of Business, where he has taught since 1975. Dr. Happel has received many teaching awards at ASU, including the ASU Distinguished Teaching Award, the Burlington Northern Award, and Arizona Professor of the Year selected by the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education. Dr. Happel is also a long-time instructor at the Pacific Coast Banking School in Seattle and the Arizona Tax Institute. He speaks throughout the U.S. on the domestic economy and international trends, recent Federal Reserve policy, and current tax/spending proposals by the White House and Congress.
