The Economic Club of Memphis is pleased to present Don Harkleroad, Chairman and CEO of the Bristol Company and a senior member of the Davos Circle of the World Economic Forum, on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at the University Club. Registration and lunch seating at 11:30 am.  Mr. Harkleroad will report on the January 2018 meeting of the World Economic Forum.

Don Harkleroad, Chairman and CEO of The Bristol Company, a portfolio and management company, is an entrepreneur and founder of numerous companies, ranging in industries from commercial and investment banking, retail stores, food production and distribution, natural resources development, real estate development, computer and technology enterprises, solid state lighting, international trade, and law. For over four decades, Mr. Harkleroad has conducted business and non-profit activities around the globe, with emphasis on leadership and company development. He is a well-known lecturer and commentator on economic and business affairs.

Mr. Harkleroad is a senior member of the Davos Circle of the World Economic Forum, a former director of The Society of International Business Fellows, a director of the Global Network Foundation, president of the Gibler Foundation, advisory director of Emerge, and former president of The Actors Theatre of Atlanta. He is an advisor to Be Well International (Qatar) and to Mobile Aid (UAE).

Mr. Harkleroad graduated from the University of Georgia with Honors in political science and public administration, and from New York University School of Law with a JD in corporate and finance law, where he was a recipient of the Vanderbilt Medal, founder of The Journal of International Law and Politics, and a Weinfeld Fellow. He taught law for several years at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.
